Japanese Krautrock. Feel the layers of cement and waves of electronic storms in Tokyo Megacity, where the album was recorded. Sometimes he gets close to microcosmic level, to take a digital surf and sometimes it´s a heroic flight on Kairos´ side.
On the second Heroinside release we present the Japanese musician Masaki Kubo with his project Former_Airline based in Tokyo. In his music he works with guitar, electronics, self-recorded tapes, mixer-feedbacks and found sound archives. His music is influenced by late 70s and early 80s experimental sounds and the atmosphere at the airport, probably because heroes must fly.

“With Julius, he was based in repetition, but here was a spirit of openness and improvisation. His scores, if they were written out that way, were often like jazz scores. He loved multiplying instruments – four pianos, ten cellos – so there was a real feeling of the presence of the instrument, not just using an instrument in some kind of equation, as a means to an end.” ~ Mary Jane Leach
